Talerly Terms of Service

By using Talerly ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Talerly is an AI-powered tool that helps you create personalized children's picture books. You provide story details (characters, themes, ideas), and our system generates story text and illustrations, which you can read online or download as a print-ready PDF.

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. Talerly is intended for use by adults creating content for or about children, not for use directly by children.

• Free accounts include a limited number of book generations per month, which resets monthly.
• Downloading a book as a PDF requires a download credit, purchased as a one-time pack (see Pricing).
• Once a credit is used to unlock a book for download, that book remains downloadable for 1 year from the unlock date.
• Download credits do not expire and can be used on any book in your library.
• Generation quotas and credits are non-transferable between accounts.

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change with notice.
• Refunds: Because each credit pack purchase immediately unlocks digital content, purchases are generally non-refundable once a credit has been used to unlock a book. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at terryhke@gmail.com and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

• You are responsible for the content you submit (character names, story descriptions, dedications, reference photos).
• You confirm you have the right to use any photo you upload as a reference image.
• Do not submit content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes on someone else's rights.
• We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

• Story text and illustrations are generated using AI models (including third-party providers). While we aim for high quality and consistency, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected results.
• You may edit story text and request a limited number of illustration redraws per page.
• Ownership of AI-generated content: you may use the books you create for personal, non-commercial purposes (such as printing for your family or gifting). Commercial use or resale rights for AI-generated content vary by jurisdiction and are an evolving legal area; consult a lawyer regarding commercial use in your market.

We aim to keep Talerly available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on third-party AI providers, and generation may occasionally be delayed or fail; we will retry automatically where possible.

Talerly is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
